Lincoln Avenue to Grand Boulevard

  • Two Tolled Express Lanes will be built in both directions between the County Line and Interstate 15, replacing the existing single carpool lane in both directions.
  • One regular lane will be built in both directions from the 71 to Interstate 15.
  • The Lincoln Avenue westbound on-ramp and off-ramp will be changed to a tight diamond shape, eliminating the existing hook ramps.
  • The Lincoln Avenue eastbound on-ramp and off-ramp will be similar to the existing condition, but will change to hook ramps to connect to the newly extended D Street east of Lincoln.
  • The existing westbound on-ramp and eastbound off-ramp to and from Grand Boulevard are very close to the Lincoln Avenue ramps, causing traffic flow problems. To correct this, the Grand Boulevard ramps will be removed and replaced with new frontage roads that will connect to the Lincoln Avenue interchange ramps.
  • North of the 91, Bollero Place will be extended east to connect to West Frontage Road, which continues to Grand Boulevard. This new frontage road will be shifted north to accommodate the new lanes and ramps.
  • South of the 91, D Street will be extended east to connect to 2nd Street at Buena Vista Avenue, and then continue to Grand Boulevard.
